"NYX The Spirit of the Night" is a freenet located in the Computer Science Department at Denver University.

Without any annoying rules Nyx is a great service. They insist you don't crack on, or from the system, but you're trusted with shell access, E-mail, net news, and your own W.W.W. home page.

Other bennies: I use nyx, for the pop mailer.
To access nyx you need to telnet to nyx.net, or dial 303-683-1990 At the login prompt enter "new". Nyx will give a guest account right away. To get full access you'll need to validate with a $20 personal check from you check account.
